Ebb has no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything you record stays on your iPhone.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. There is no backend to send it to.
Your morning check-ins, the factors you tag, your completed sessions, your quiz answers and your settings are written to a database file inside the app's own container on your device. They are included in your device backup if you back up your iPhone, and they are covered by that backup's encryption — not by anything we operate.
Nothing. Ebb contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. It does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework or the advertising identifier, because it has no use for either.
If — and only if — you grant permission, Ebb reads your body mass from Apple Health. An overnight change in weight is a useful objective check against how puffy you feel, which is otherwise entirely subjective.
Ebb does not use your camera and does not access your photo library. It asks for no such permission.
Reminders are scheduled locally by your device. They are not push notifications, so nothing about them reaches a server.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card, your billing address, or your Apple Account. Apple tells the app only whether a subscription is currently active.
Articles in Ebb link to published studies on PubMed. Opening one leaves the app and hands you to your browser, where that website's own privacy policy applies.
Ebb is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Deleting the app removes its database from your device. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to erase. If you have restored from a backup, deleting the app again removes the restored copy too.
Ebb is a wellness app. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition, and it is not a medical device. If you have persistent or one-sided swelling, or you have been diagnosed with lymphoedema, speak to a clinician.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If we ever add anything that transmits data off your device, this page will say so before that version ships.
